Redesigning a Local Business, Fall 2020
The VUE and BREW
I was asked to find a local business and redesign the brand along with creating or redesigning the website and app.
I chose to redesign a small popular movie theater for this project. A lot of my design was inspired by the fact that this movie theater is locally owned and run by all high school students. Since Laurel is known for its trains and railroads, I went with a more circular theme to emulate the wheels, gears, and other aspects of a train. The color scheme was taken from the town’s school colors, purple and gold, I gave the color combination some adjusting such as darkening the gold and lightening up the purple, to balance it out.
